I try to keep my home as tidy as possible, however having a partner who owns a landscaping supplier & who is consistently dirty every time he walks into the home can be difficult to keep my floors clean.
He will track in a lot of dirt & lawn from his boots & clothing, and it annoys me sometimes because there are nights where he just doesn’t scrub up after himself & expects me to scrub it up.
It’s also difficult to keep my home scrub because I have three kids as well! There are consistently toys sitting around & food crumbs on my couches & floors. I try to dedicate the weekends to being my big cleaning nights, but sometimes my pets will immediately make my home dirty once I have it all cleaned. They shed a lot & sometimes even smell. The other afternoon I could smell a absolutely bad odor & I thought it was from one of my pets & that they may have gotten into something outside. The smell was coming from where my humidifier is located at, and when opening up my humidifier I found that it’s pad was full of mold & mineral deposits. I figured that this is what must have been smelling up my home. I ended up replacing the pad & cleaning the humidifier’s housing. While I was cleaning it I was wondering if the mold ended up getting into the evaporator coil. I’m thinking that I’m going to have to call my local Heating & A/C specialist to have him take a look at it for me to see if it needs replacing.
