Central HVAC wakes me up at the witching hour; might be possessed

When I first moved into this house I knew that it was going to be an amazing experience.

  • I’ve never lived in such a calm, beautiful home before.

I really wanted to have a nice living experience for once and to thoroughly enjoy my surroundings. Well, let me tell you that that hasn’t exactly worked out. As beautiful and updated as the home is, the central heating and cooling system hasn’t been so well cared for. When I moved in, the property manager told me that the heating and cooling equipment had to be about 15 years old. I wasn’t very bothered by this fact, because I could feel the cool air passing from every air vents in the house. To be sure I wasn’t signing up for a temperature control nightmare, I had my trusted HVAC technician friend come and inspect the central HVAC system for me. He gave the furnace and air conditioner the green light, so I moved in. Little did I know, the HVAC system could be possessed. From the first night that I moved in, the heating and cooling equipment started doing strange things. The indoor air temperature fluctuated wildly, with uneven hot and cold spots that signified spirits to me. I swore that I could hear whispers coming from the air vents sometimes. When the air conditioner started emanating a massive BANG every night at 3am – the witching hour – I knew that I was dealing with something serious. When I told my HVAC tech friend, he thought I was insane. I finally contacted my property manager and inquired about the history of the house and the HVAC system. At that point, he reluctantly told me that the prior tenant committed suicide by hanging from an air duct. I knew I wasn’t making this up.
