This past week was so funny.
All of a sudden a important Heat Wave came rolling through the nation, plus everyone started panicking, but no, that itself is in actually humorous. That was quite dangerous. The funny part was everybody freaking out over the air conditions that I’m used to living in. People are getting 90 to 100 degree afternoons with a honest amount of humidity. And they started to panic. All of the news channels were talking about people overheating plus perishing. I sure hope that did not happen, however there were ways to prevent such disasters. Personally, I live in the Deep South. I’ve been here for a few years now… And you get used to the heat plus humidity pretty quickly. When 8 months out of the year are completely miserably sizzling plus feel like you are resting in a sauna, you would learn to get over it. There’s no other way to live. You invest in a brand new a/c plus you keep your house as comfortable as you can. When you get to boiling you return to your household plus stop moving. You let the cool air take over plus bring your body temperature back down. I was trying to explain this to my family as they panicked over the coming Heatwave, however they would not take my advice. They insisted that their AC units were running just great plus they would be okay. They said that the weather just needed to cool back down. I understand what they’re saying, however I think it makes more sense to be prepared for the heat then to insist that it swings. A lot of them complained about the humidity pitfallly affecting their indoor living. When I tried to bring up the AC equipment again they scoffed at me. It’s too humid for that they insisted. Humidity? You don’t know what humidity is until you live down here for a summer.
