This past week was so funny.
All of a abrupt a immense Heat Wave came rolling through the nation, and everyone started panicking; No, that itself is in unquestionably humorous.
That was quite dangerous. The funny part was everybody freaking out over the air conditions that I’m used to living in, people are getting 90 to 100 degree days with a fair amount of humidity. And they started to panic. All of the news channels were talking about people overheating and perishing. I sure hope that didn’t happen, however there were ways to prevent such disasters. Personally, I live in the Deep South. I’ve been here for a few years now… And you get used to the heat and humidity pretty quickly. When 8 months out of the year are completely miserably tepid and feel like you are sitting in a sauna, you would learn to get over it. There’s no other way to live. You invest in a brand new air conditioner unit and you keep your apartment as comfortable as you can. When you get to boiling you return to your apartment and stop moving. You let the cool air take over and bring your body temperature back down. I was trying to explain this to my family as they panicked over the coming Heatwave, however they would not take my advice. They insisted that their AC units were running just fantastic and they would be okay. They said that the weather just needed to cool back down. I understand what they’re saying, however I know it makes more sense to be prepared for the heat then to insist that it changes. A lot of them complained about the humidity downsidely affecting their indoor living. When I tried to bring up the AC unit again they scoffed at me. It’s too humid for that they insisted. Humidity? You don’t know what humidity is until you live down here for a summer.
