My fireplace is getting fixed tomorrow, and I cannot wait! I am so excited to finally have my fireplace back.
I have never been this long without a fireplace.
My family had a fireplace growing up, and every single house that my husband and I have lived in has had a fireplace. We really like fireplaces, if that isn’t obvious. My husband says that he could get used to not having one because he has liked not having to cut wood for the past few months. Our fireplace hasn’t been usable for about four and a half months, and these past few months have seemed like the longest months of my life. I just don’t like going without my precious fireplace. My husband thought that he might be able to fix the fireplace, but he tried, and he could not fix it. We had to call a professional to fix our fireplace, and they will be here tomorrow. I just can’t wait to have a fireplace once again. My husband and I have spent all day today chopping firewood. We got a lot done. We should have been chopping firewood the whole time that our fireplace has been out of commision because we would have had a lot of wood saved up, but we were lazy. Now, we have to pay for it by cutting tons of firewood. I have made it through all the work today by reminding myself that I will have a fireplace in no time. I just can’t wait to smell that wonderful wood burning smell. There is nothing like the heat that a fireplace produces either. It is such a cozy form of heat. I love my fireplace.
