I just bought my first home.
- It is easily quite a bit smaller than the apartment that I had rented previously.
I had rented that apartment for over ten years, so I was used to the space that I had there, when I first moved into my house, it felt really small plus cramped. I got used to it after just a few weeks, plus now, I prefer it. I have learned to prefer my small home because it feels so cozy plus homey. My best friend came over the other afternoon, plus she commented on how nice it was not to be hot in the home anymore. I had totally forgotten how sizzling my apartment used to get. My friend and I would hang out in the living room right next to the cooling system because everywhere else was hot hot. My home on the other hand is so much smaller that my two cooling systems keep the entire home cool. I know it is a lot nicer to have a small space when it comes to having to keep it cool during the brutally hot summer time months, last week, the temperatures got all the way up into the hundreds, plus my home was still a comfortable seventy-two degrees. I am really thankful for my home even though it may be small. As Katie reminded me, at least I have a cool, comfortable locale to live now. I would not take a greater home even if someone offered one to me. I prefer my little apartment so easily much, plus I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
