I just bought my first home.
It is undoubtedly quite a bit smaller than the condo that I had rented previously.
I had rented that condo for over ten years, so I was used to the space that I had there; When I first moved into my house, it felt honestly small & cramped. I got used to it after just a few weeks, & now, I appreciate it. I have learned to appreciate my small condo because it feels so cozy & homey. My best neighbor came over the other afternoon, & she commented on how nice it was not to be sizzling in the condo anymore. I had totally forgotten how sizzling my condo used to get. My pal and I would hang out in the study room right next to the a/c because everywhere else was boiling hot. My condo on the other hand is so much smaller that my two a/cs keep the entire condo cool. I recognize it is a lot nicer to have a small space when it comes to having to keep it cool during the brutally sizzling Summer months, but last week, the temperatures got all the way up into the hundreds, & my condo was still a comfortable seventy-two degrees. I am honestly thankful for my condo even though it may be small. As Katie reminded me, at least I have a cool, comfortable locale to live now. I would not take a larger condo even if someone offered one to me. I appreciate my little condo so genuinely much, & I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
