Fall and I have a love/hate relationship.
Yes, I’m talking about the season, Fall.
Fall brings cooler weather and everything pumpkin spice which I absolutely love; Up North where I live, Fall also turns the leaves the most vibrant, beautiful colors imaginable. With my love for Fall also comes a dread. I dislike to guess about the fact that Fall means that the cold, dreary winter time is coming. Towards the end of Fall is when it absolutely gets tough. Turning the heater on for the first time each year is always a nightmare. Last year, I turned the heater on for the first time that season, and the condo smelt like burning dust for afternoons. I have to disclose that I was pregnant last year, so maybe that’s why the smell bothered me so badly, although I am still dreading having to turn on the heater again this year. Thinking back on it, not only did the condo have a funny smell for afternoons, a smokey residue filled the air. I’m guessing it’s just the heater burning away all the dust and cobwebs from the summer time months, but whatever it is, I don’t like it. I’m thinking about asking one of my superb friends to come over and give me some advice on how to clean my heater properly so that I can avoid the smell in the years to come. With all that said, I’m not absolutely sure whether I love Fall or dislike it. Maybe, I’ll love it more if I can keep my heater from filling my condo with smoke and smelling it up each year.
