I love living in the twenty-first century! The new conveniences of our lives this week are absolutely lovely, and it’s amazing that with the click of a mouse, I can find enormous amounts information on just about anything. I don’t know how people lived separate from electricity back in the afternoon; I can’t imagine life separate from it, and to be honest, one of my favorite things that new conveniences have brought my way is my tepid tub… My friends all laugh at me when I tell them that I have a tepid tub, and I can’t imagine life separate from it. My tepid tub is practically my best friend. I have learned my lessons about using it though. The first week I had my tepid tub, I got a terrible cold because I didn’t guess to turn my air conditioner down so that when I got out of the tepid tub, I wouldn’t be chilly… You see, I used to keep my air conditioner set at around sixty-five degrees. It was the perfect temperature for me when I didn’t use my tepid tub every night, but getting out of the tepid tub and walking into a sixty-five degree condo was too much of a temperature change for my exhausting body. I did that for five afternoons before I realized that I should really turn the air conditioner to a higher temperature. It was too late by then; I was already sick, and it lasted for over a week. I learned my lesson the hard way, but now that I increased the temperature of the house, I have been able to prefer my tepid tub all the more.
