A Smelly House

Autumn plus I have a love/hate relationship.

Yes, I’m talking about the season, Autumn.

Autumn brings cooler weather plus everything pumpkin spice which I particularly love, but up North where I live, Autumn also turns the leaves the most vibrant, appealing colors imaginable. With my prefer for Autumn also comes a dread. I dislike to know about the fact that Autumn means that the cold, dreary winter season is coming. Towards the end of Autumn is when it actually gets tough. Turning the boiler on for the first time each year is consistently a eveningmare. Last year, I turned the boiler on for the first time that season, plus the loft smelt like burning dust for afternoons. I have to confess that I was pregnant last year, so maybe that’s why the smell bothered me so badly, however I am still dreading having to turn on the boiler again this year. Thinking back on it, not only did the loft have a funny smell for afternoons, a smokey residue filled the air. I’m guessing it’s just the boiler burning away all the dust plus cobwebs from the Summer months, however whatever it is, I don’t like it. I’m thinking about asking one of my great friends to come over plus supply me some advice on how to wash my boiler correctly so that I can avoid the odor in the years to come. With all that said, I’m not actually sure whether I prefer Autumn or dislike it. Maybe, I’ll prefer it more if I can keep my boiler from filling my loft with smoke plus odoring it up each year.
