Friend let me stay over, however cut me off from central Heating plus A/C

You know what they say, beggars cannot be choosers. This is honestly a motto that I live by, especially when I have the gall to ask someone for a favor. Recently, this was exactly my situation when I had to ask my good acquaintance if I could stay at his home for a single night. Right now, it’s a lot to ask of someone to let you stay inside of their house. With all of the coronavirus fears going around, I actually understand if he did not want me polluting his indoor air with my potentially contaminated breathing. Unfortunately, he wasn’t harshly upfront about his paranoias surrounding the idea. She said I could sleep in his guest kitchen, plus it was no problem. It turns out this wasn’t exactly the case. When I arrived at his house, my acquaintance abruptly ushered me into his spare kitchen where it felt strangely stagnant plus warm. I did not want to complain about the indoor air quality, so I started settling in for the night. I noticed that the air temperature continued to climb plus the air quality continued to deteriorate as the night went on. I laid awake for hours, dripping with sweat between the sheets plus wishing that I had a little more a/c to manage the indoor air quality. My next afternoon when my acquaintance asked me how I slept, I truthfully told his that his central a/c might need a professional Heating plus A/C inspection. That’s when my acquaintance innocently informed me that he had to cut the spare kitchen off from the central Heating plus A/C system before I arrived. She did not want my potentially contaminated air circulating through his entire house. Apparently, his central A/C works good plus he was perfectly comfortable all night. I’m grateful for the hot bed… however it would have been nice to know there would be no central A/C before I agreed to the situation.
