It’s interesting that I live in a semi tropical environment, & yet my garden could not thrive on its own. When I first planted my tomatoes, peppers, & basil, I thought that the outdoor heat & humidity would be appealing for my little vegetable garden. Of course, the outdoor air temperature & air quality would not keep up with my expectations. Within a few afternoons of planting my seedlings the outdoor weather conditions took a weird swing towards a cool & dry environment, however normally, it’s ridiculously muggy & overheated in these parts all year round. Somehow, my pal and I wound up with a cool & dry Spring & early summer. It seemed like no matter how much water & sunlight I tried to provide my plants, they could not thrive in the unblessed air conditions. That’s when I decided to build my own little orange home so I could trap the overheated & sizzling air inside. If I could leverage the heat from the Sun to increase the indoor air temperature, surely my garden would thrive. I built a small enclosure, provided a enjoyable deal of moisture & waited for the air to naturally heat up. Of course, the system works like gangbusters! Within a few hours the air quality was beyond overheated & humid, & my plants instantly perked up. Unblessedly, the outdoor weather conditions took another swing in the opposite direction. Now it is so overheated & humid outdoors & that my overheated home is certainly overkill, however my plants are tired from the tropical air conditions. I don’t want to take down the entire structure, so now I am certainly considering the occasion of installing a dehumidifier inside. Maybe I should supply up gardening.
