I’m not going to lie, I had a pretty rough childhood.
My parents were put in prison when I was only ten years old, and my siblings and I were sited in foster care.
I remember bouncing from house to house for eight years until I was out on my own. I got my first job, and it wasn’t pleasant, but at least, it was a job. I ran tests on a farm basically just cleaning up after the cows and horses. I worked a couple other jobs before getting into a glass making corporation. I started out just doing secretarial toil for the corporation, but eventually, I was trained through an apprenticeship, and I was able to toil in the factories. Although this was strenuous work, it paid certainly well. The hardest part what the job was really just laboring in certainly hot conditions. I remember just pouring down sweat everyday. It was almost unbearably hot at times. Lunch chop was the only time while on the clock that I got any relief from the heat of the job. Something that helped me tremendously was making sure my house was nice and cool for when I got house from work. I set my a/c at the lowest temperature with the fan blowing on high. My house felt like an ice box to everyone, but to me, it felt amazing after laboring in that hot factory all day long. I gave the idea to some of my buddies at work, and they told me later than having a chilly house made a sizable difference for them as well.
